FTP Links

FTP Server are the best way - in my opinion - to get software for the emulators. you can get there games if you have a good FTP Programm. Free for private use and comfortable is WS FTP. There are 3 FTP Servers who are important:

ftp://ftp.nvg.unit.no

contains most of the CPC Games.

ftp://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/amstrad

contains many utilities and emulators

ftp://ftp.demon.co.uk/pub/cpm

there you get CP/M Software.

Ok, thats the good news. Now the bad : The ftp://ftp.nvg.unit.no ist quity slow and theres a restriction to 10 or 20 users a time. If you get a connection. you have luck. If not - try it later again.

The ftp://ftp.nvg.unit.no Server is mirrored on ftp://ftp.math.uni-hamburg.de/pub/misc/cpc_emu
and ftp://ftp.frozenkiwi.net/mirrors/ftp.nvg.ntnu.no/pub/cpc/
and ftp://andercheran.aiind.upv.es/pub/cpc.

So you can try these Servers too.

Under the links "norway", "hamburg", "england" and "netherland" you can acess the Servers via a Web Interface - I converted the Index Files of the Servers in HTML Links. However, every link ends on the server ( i have not the 800 MB Webspace to host the whole content). If you get a broken link try another server. By my testing the hamburg server was the best of the three.

Under the link "france" you get a web Acess to ftp://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/amstrad.
